No idea for today: go to the “Petit Palais”

Three things you shouldn’t miss in Paris, are in the Petit Palais.

– The great (and free) exhibition about Paris 1900, with beautiful paintings such as
“Les Halles” from Lhermitte
“La femme aux gants” ou “La Parisienne” de Giron and much more wonderful painters such as Renoir, Gauguin, Monet, Toulouse-Lautrec, Manet,…

– The place: the Petit Palais was built for the Universal Exposition of 1900. It’s lovely outside and inside, please look under your shoes and above your head (lovely paintings and architecture).

– and the cafe in the garden: “le jardin du petit palais”!
with exotic vegetation that takes you away(banana tree, palm tree…). You can go even if you don’t want to visit the Palais. You can sit outside (even if it’s raining) or inside, for eating or just for a drink.
It’s a quiet place in the middle of Paris, where you can order a “café gourmand” with a “macaron” and a “cannelé”, just what you need!
