Want to go to the sea? Deauville or Trouville

Located in the Calvados region of Normandy, about two hours from Paris, the towns of Deauville and Trouville (located a few kilometers from each other) are true corners of paradise to get away.

Famous for their long sandy beaches, you will find many restaurants on the seafront, ideal for admiring the view. Visiting Deauville also means taking advantage of the Normandy coastline by renting a boat to take a real dip in the fresh air and enjoy it together!

Finally, it’s hard to talk about Deauville without mentioning the famous Casino Barrière. Finish your romantic weekend far from Paris by dining in one of its restaurants and why not try your hand at the various games afterwards.

Moreover, every year from spring to fall, on the 24 most beautiful facades of the city are projected scenographies: magnificent light shows.

Finally, to visit Chartres is also to visit the exceptional Cathedral registered in the World Heritage of Unesco.

How to get there?

The city is accessible by car and is 1h15 from Paris.

Board a TER train for 1 hour from Paris Montparnasse station to Chartres station.

Where to sleep?

Just two minutes away from the cathedral and located in front of the train station, with its art deco or art nouveau style, the Hotel Jenan de Beauce is ideally located to welcome you. Take advantage of its fitness room or its sauna to relax. Prices vary from 64€ to 150€.

Located in the Picardy region, just an hour from Paris, the city of Chantilly will allow you to disconnect for a few days. Take advantage of this city of art and history to discover the castle of Chantilly as impressive on the outside as it is on the inside. The park and the forest of the Chantilly domain are very large and have a lot of greenery, fountains and horses. You can take a boat or a pedal boat into the domain to discover the castle from another angle.

The horse museum, of course! And right next door don’t miss the Prince de Conde racecourse which is beautiful. With a little luck, you will be able to watch the races.

The city is one hour by car from Paris

By TER, leaving from the Gare du Nord, in Paris, it will take you 25min to Chantilly Gouvieux station

Where to eat?

Where to sleep?
